 So its been a while since Ive done this. Mainly and mostly my writings have been for music and scripts. Im active on youtube, old twitter, deleted FB, active on tiktok, instagram. Follow me on those sites if you dare.

Switching from Smartphone to dumb flip phone

I had been contemplating this decision for many a day! It was not until Dec 31, 2017 at 9:30pm that I decided to start my new year off with a flip phone. UP until this point my smart phone had been keeping me up all night watching youtube videos etc.  And not only to top it off, if I would be late with one bill Verizon would treat me poorly with harassment. I was paying $180 but my bill was always more than $200 plus a month.  Ive been a loyal customer since 2005.  It always seem like I had to pay the higher bill. Now I am tired and fed up.  I will not pay outrages fees any longer for my phone in the new year. I could switch over to a cheaper flip phone but since I have my mother on my plan and she has a smart phone I don’t wont to take her fun away.

I look forward to the days of not sleeping with my smartphone, constantly checking it, constantly looking at its nightly glare as it looks back at me.  I want to rest at night. I want to walk the streets in the day without looking down at my smartphone. Id prefer to use my computer for all the social media updates, such as twitter. No longer do I need to get the perfect picture/video anymore.  Maybe now I will actually experience events as they happen. Everything doesn’t need to be memorialized. 

Now how will I navigate without google maps, I'll use an atlas. What about uber in Oakland, CA. I'll rent a car or use transit or bike. Many things I'll have to figure out now since I don't have those apps.  Happy New Year, 2018!!!

I was forced to watch the first episode of this show and here are my thoughts.  Cornballs is all that came to mind.

I have a question, if this was the first season for a black contestant, why was it that, the only black men on the show carried the title of "cornball" except one.  Sorry, if throughout the show these guys personality changed, but I am going off of first impressions. Those were cornballs all except one guy. The End.

It is stupid to buy a BRand New Vehicle, EVER!!!

I had to do it!  Yes, I had to get rid of my truck note, It was killing my wealth.  According to Dave Ramsey, having a car note is the first thing that needs to go when trying to become debt free.  But, this was not an easy feat. I was $10,000 upside down on my truck note!  I prayed earnestly to God for a solid year asking God for the opportunity to get this money to pay off the difference. 

 

A bit of history, I got the truck the day before thanksgiving in 2015. Why I did that, I do not know. I was very impressed with my negotiating skills I suppose.  I had been wanting to get a Toyota tundra since 2008, and I felt as if the time for me to have my truck had come.  WRONG!  It is never the right time to get stuck in a high car note.  My note was $702/month and $200 insurance for a total of $902/month.  I can’t afford that, what was I thinking?  Every month Id watch Dave Ramsey and try to plan my budget.  I prayed with fervor that I could get the money to get out of this truck note. God finally answered my prayer!!!

The answer to my prayers came in the form of a Nursing strike in Minnesota!  Thank you, Minnesota; you have been good to me!  The money I made on that strike allowed me to get out of two financial holes I had dug myself in.  Both debts were $10,000 each.  Thank God for Minnesota! 

Fast forward to last week.  Well last week I wanted to sell my truck for the quote that was originally given. In June I was offered $30,000 for my truck, last week I was offered $27,000, 28,000, and finally 29,000. The $29,000 came from another Toyota dealer surprisingly!  A bit of advice, if you purchase a brand new truck, do not expect to sell it back for a good/righteous price. Everyone is out to make a dollar. Remember that! 

 

Don’t by items you can’t pay cash for!  I wish I had listen to my own advice. Im sad that I actually signed the lease and I am happy that God made a way out of it.  These days I am going to buy a bike first then I will buy a cheap vehicle for emergencies. If you don't have the cash to buy an item, don't buy the item!

Also, I tried to sell the truck on craigslist for an entire year. NO luck, only people trying to scheme you and hustle, “time wasters.”  I might do a youtube video on this one.  It feels so good to not have to come up with that car note money before the 9th of each month. I am very happy though!!!!!!!

Changing my life through Minimalism!

I would like to talk about how I plan on changing my life through minimalism. I can’t say that I am a true minimalist but I do subscribe to the philosophy. I love the fact that getting rid of clutter is a lifestyle. But, what I want to do is learn how I can apply the healthy eating to my life style and also decreasing debt. I will become accountable to my audience and post weekly or daily on my progress.  My goals are as follow:

 1. Continue to educate myself on minimalism, 2. Lose about 100LBs  3. Get out of debt.  I believe if I can achieve all these goals my quality of life will improve.  Debt causes one to work more hours than necessary.  And the eating out at fast food places is detrimental to the mind and body.  So if I have anyone that is interested in doing this with me let me know. I will let May 24, 2016 be my start day to achieve my goals.  I will post and be accountable daily if I can on my progress.

Jesus and Homo's

Would Jesus be friends with homosexuals? Would he attend they social get together/party? Would he openly defend them against the Sanhedrin council? Jesus did hang with zachias whom everybody hated, he was a known sinner; yet Jesus ate dinner at his crib. It appears our job is to be Godly men among men, and let God do the rest. 

I only wonder, because are we modern Christians the new Pharisees? They hated the adulteress sin so much that they wanted to stone her.  Would Jesus stand by the homo and be like, "let he who has not sinned cast the first stone?" I just want to know how Jesus would treat gays?

Who knows what the acronym "asl" stands for?  I know people from the 90's who when the internet first started we used this in chat room sites. Back in those days when you got on a chat, it wasn't possible to know or see who you were talking to so the first thing you would do is type "asl." This stands for "Age,Sex and Location." It's All Spiritual

I now believe all things are spiritual, let me explain.  I have always known all things was spiritual but it didn’t dawn on me until today. Why is it that you will be presented with a temptation but it’s not the best of the temptations.  Let me be clearer. I like a BBW but, I also like a nice slender.  Years ago, I was tempted by a BBW and a nice slender. What I didn’t know back then was that this was not a sexual temptation, though I thought it was.  See, if it was a true sexual temptation, then the BBW and the nice slender would have been top notch beauties, but they were NOT! So, what type of temptation was it?  It was a temptation that would lead to emotional distress and spiritual bondage.

 

  The goal of the enemy was not sex, but emotional and mental bondage that these women would bring into my life. It is often more severe to receive a person’s spirit than it is to receive their disease.  One of the women dealt with depression and the other dealt with low self-esteem.  Before I met these two women, these emotions never crossed me. Thus, now I understand it’s all spiritual. The way you get a person’s spirit is through physical and emotional attachment, the act of opening up ones gates.  There is a perfect reason to AVOID fornicating with every female you meet. You don’t want to leave with her spiritual flaws/issues or vice versa for the women.

Origin of the DAB

So many people believe the DAB came from a few rappers, but I am here to tell you not to believe it, because that is a falsity.  DAB originated from the kids growing up like me who were poor.  Let me explain, often times we didn’t have enough deodorant in the house to go around, so I would scrap the sides of the deodorant container and smear it under my arms. 

When I would get to school I needed to know if I was musty or not, and so I would, DAB!  Back in those days it wasn’t called DABBING, it was called, being SURE THAT I WASN’T MUSTY, but FRESH!!! I didn’t want to be secretly/loudly musty!!  The DAB is nothing new.  When I see people DABBING, It only appears they are checking to see if they are FRESH/SURE!!!  DAB on em’.

Minimalist Apartments SCAM!!

Say NO to miniature/ small apartments!! I have seen a moving trend of real estate developers building small apartments in the name of environment and calling them minimalist apartments.  First, I am not a minimalist but I do believe in owning less and thus having more money. My argument with the miniature apartment concept is that apartments do not apply when you speak of minimalism.  A house on the other hand does apply because a house is owned and not rented.  The reason apartments do not apply is that these fancy card board cut-outs are being rented for prices that will soon increase; thus leaving the renter paying more money for less apartment space. It’s a terrible idea!!!  Don't pay more money for less apartment!! That's wrong!!! They are building cages and prison cells and calling them luxury minimalist apartments. There is no such thing as a minimalist apartment, but there is a such thing as hustling a lot of people out of money and telling them the little small space they reside in is in fact a minimalist constructed apartment. If you want to live in a small home then build it on your own land. I guarantee you, Leon Ash has not fallen for the minimalist apartment SCAM.   I live in a 770 sqft, 12 ft ceilings apartment.

 

I have one couch, one TV, one bed, and nothing else. It’s a big empty home, but I love it!!!!!!! These are pictures of my place.  If you want to live in a minimalist lifestyle, don’t rent a small apartment to make you feel like you are living the lifestyle.  You can rent a nice size apartment and better than that you can buy a small home.

I love me some HOUSTON, TEXAS!!!

Aint nothing like the "H" baby!  I don’t know how to explain it but to ME, Houston Texas has the most beautiful DAYS!!! I mean, when I step outside, I get a NEW since of LIFE and Well-Being!  My inner being becomes excited, when I look up and see the beautiful sky, the beautiful trees, the beautiful buildings and the beautiful people.  Listen, I love the Bay and I love Los Angeles, but they hold no comparison to Me.  Houston is my first Love, Real Talk! I live in this city, and I want to support this city. 

I want to see it grow! I want to see it prosper!  I want to promote progress here for others!   When I go to Oakland, Cali, I love the place but I have one fault with it.  I wish Oakland would promote the cleaning of its downtown like Houston.  Houston has a clean downtown. Trash is dealt with appropriately thus promoting the newness of this city. Thank GOD for Houston, now I know what the slogan means, “Born an American, but Bless to be a TEXAN!” I love me some Houston! Okay, Let me stop, I got to go outside and enjoy Memorial Park and then maybe even Galveston! Deuces.

Its been a while since I have written a post, so I have one for you.  Let us talk about these B-eeches! These B-eeches ain't pretty, I mean exactly that!

I have never liked a loud talking female nor ASSty attituded female. It appears these days, more of them are walking the streets. They have this dumb founded look as if to wonder why men avoid them like the AIDS. These B-eeches ain't pretty. They sexy in their garment, but once the mouthpiece opens up and you hear just how raw they are, its at that point when your eyes open up to the truth.  B-eeches ain’t pretty.  Majority of these B-eeches got anger problems, because some man has done them the way they deserved! You may have a problem with me calling the B-eeches out they name, but I don’t care what you have a problem with. Truth should be told, and Terrell is here to tell it.

Big Brother on CBS has captivated me!

You know what, I'm ashamed to say, but I am really digging Big Brother on CBS. I really enjoyed Season 15. If I don't catch the first show in the beginning, I wont watch it. Its sad how I am on twitter looking to see whats the latest headline, lol. Its a wonderful pleasure, something like an unhealthy sweet treat. I am not one of those super fans but I do enjoy the drama and sheer ridiculousness of the entire thing. I love to see the scheming and plotting that goes on. It is totally comical to me. Why I deleted my personal FB!

Number one reason I deleted my FB is because, I simply don't like FB! It reminds me of the porn magazines we use to look at in grade school. I hated looking at beautiful women in the magazine and not be able to have them, they were not within my reach or grasp. FB is a tease and I don't like a tease. I found myself wasting important hours of the day looking at pretty faces on FB, and FOR WHAT? 

 

 I don't like Porn websites, strip clubs, anything that is a tease, I hate that ISH! FB has no relevance, as most of its users are swayed into the false adulation of the “LIKE” button. You all know what Im talking about. You post that picture and get 112 likes, you start feeling like you have done something important, BUT YOU DIDNT DO anything important, you only posted a picture. I suppose its okay for people to have a FEELING of accomplishment without obtaining a goal, unless the “FEELING”was your Goal!

Social Networking Sites Do NOT promote BUSINESS!!!

If you are a business owner and you think that your social networking HOURS will equal clients/money earned, then you have another thing coming! Social networks do not contribute to the financial increase of a business. Social networks are for FUN and Wasting time, NOT for BUSINESS! 

 

 Lets look at examples: Have you noticed how certain SINGERS and ENTERTAINERS have MILLIONS of followers, and once that ENTERTAINER puts out work, only a Thousand or so people go and purchase that work? Have you noticed that? If you have 10million followers I would think your music should sell to 1% of those followers, but NO, it does NOT!!!! So don't waste your time trying to DO Business on a social Networking Site!! If you have GOOD product then It will do just fine promoting itself!! That's all I have to say about that!
