Who knows what the acronym "asl" stands for?  I know people from the 90's who when the internet first started we used this in chat room sites. Back in those days when you got on a chat, it wasn't possible to know or see who you were talking to so the first thing you would do is type "asl." This stands for "Age,Sex and Location." That was just a brief history on the internet.  Welcome to Internet History 101.

Origin of the DAB

So many people believe the DAB came from a few rappers, but I am here to tell you not to believe it, because that is a falsity.  DAB originated from the kids growing up like me who were poor.  Let me explain, often times we didn’t have enough deodorant in the house to go around, so I would scrap the sides of the deodorant container and smear it under my arms. 

When I would get to school I needed to know if I was musty or not, and so I would, DAB!  Back in those days it wasn’t called DABBING, it was called, being SURE THAT I WASN’T MUSTY, but FRESH!!! I didn’t want to be secretly/loudly musty!!  The DAB is nothing new.  When I see people DABBING, It only appears they are checking to see if they are FRESH/SURE!!!  DAB on em’.

Minimalist Apartments SCAM!!

Say NO to miniature/ small apartments!! I have seen a moving trend of real estate developers building small apartments in the name of environment and calling them minimalist apartments.  First, I am not a minimalist but I do believe in owning less and thus having more money. My argument with the miniature apartment concept is that apartments do not apply when you speak of minimalism.  A house on the other hand does apply because a house is owned and not rented.  The reason apartments do not apply is that these fancy card board cut-outs are being rented for prices that will soon increase; thus leaving the renter paying more money for less apartment space. It’s a terrible idea!!!  Don't pay more money for less apartment!! That's wrong!!! They are building cages and prison cells and calling them luxury minimalist apartments. There is no such thing as a minimalist apartment, but there is a such thing as hustling a lot of people out of money and telling them the little small space they reside in is in fact a minimalist constructed apartment. If you want to live in a small home then build it on your own land. I guarantee you, Leon Ash has not fallen for the minimalist apartment SCAM.   I live in a 770 sqft, 12 ft ceilings apartment.

 

I have one couch, one TV, one bed, and nothing else. It’s a big empty home, but I love it!!!!!!! These are pictures of my place.  If you want to live in a minimalist lifestyle, don’t rent a small apartment to make you feel like you are living the lifestyle.  You can rent a nice size apartment and better than that you can buy a small home.

Muslims and Christians, how does that ISH work?

OOOOH, I am about to hit one of those sensitive topics, but I am Leon, this is what I do! So I was pondering on a bible verse: “If any man says that Jesus is not the Christ, then that man is not of God.” Muslims don't believe Jesus is the one true son of God, so what does that make them, AntiChrist?  OOOOH, question, can a Muslim and Christian be friends with such opposing views and is it possible for them to coincide for a season with differing beliefs? Will the ISH eventually hit the fan? I'm just asking; if you are brave enough to answer go ahead.

FYI; I can talk like this because I have Muslim associates and friends and they know, Leon would rather a man believed in God than NO God!!! And much respect to the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan a man for God! An old friend of mine, Kazeem in Hattiesburg is a real deal Muslim.

Disrespected Fathers!

Disrespect of fathers has become an epidemic in America. What is happening? Why are children disrespecting the father? I love and respect my father to much, I'd kill myself before I would do some dumb ISH like that. I have come up with some possible reasons.

 

Is it that men are marrying women who already have children? Follow me, I say 50% of women who have children and get remarried, tend to give the children more power than the new husband. This is not a scientific fact but it is an observatorial fact. “Give the power,” that is exactly the deal in 50% of those cases. What about fathers who have their own children and still get disrespected, whats the reason?

 

I believe these fathers suffer disrespect because they allow it! Christian an Muslim fathers should not have this problem, and if they do, it is as I said before, because they allow it. What are the solutions: 1. Do not allow your children to disrespect you. 2. You must understand that God is supreme and if you believe that and live by that then all should be well in your home.

Young men, be cautious of the chase! The woman you pursue might actually be the woman you catch; that's funny, but true. You should definitely not chase a woman only to sleep with her; what happens when she says yes and it becomes a relationship that you never intended?  Ten years later after you have married that woman you realize you never wanted more than just a one night fling. How did this happen you ask, I'll tell you, you caught what you chased. It happens to many men, so don't become a casualty of the chase. My advice is to only pursue a woman you can see as a wife, its safer than the latter; but sometimes the one you want as a wife could be similar to ------------

NO WAR for Syria!

Many people are going to ask me, “Leon, how can you not support war to free the Syrian people from genocide?”   I will then turn around and ask, how will going to war, help the Syrian people?  The reality is, war will not stop BARBARIC leaders from being BARBARIC and primitive.  What we have in these foreign countries are a lot of ancient primitive thinkers with modern weapons, and that’s never a good combination.  Here is Leon’s proposal:

1.       Tell the news media to stop instigating fights.  If it were not for the news media always showing us troubles in every remote part of the world we could save more lives. YES, I’ll explain that at a later date.

2.       Some people believe that if we do not attack this leader of Syria, then we leave the door open for other crazy leaders to do the same thing.  This is false.  Saddam Hussein was a ruthless dictator; we attacked him, put him on trial and killed him.  I ask you dear friends, did the Syrian leader NOT see what we did to Saddam Hussein?  Did our actions toward Saddam Hussein halt the actions of this Syrian leader?  Did this Syrian leader think to himself, “I better not use poison gas on my people because America will not like it?”  NO, he did not.  War will not stop Primitive Barbaric thinking. 

So what should America do, you ask?  America should do nothing, Period!  WHAT?  America committed Genocide on its own people many years ago and continue to do so even today!  Yes, I’ll explain that at a later date.

Angry Lesbians Everywhere!

Lesbians, why are you so Angry? 

Dear Public, have you ever met a happy lesbian?  I personally have never met a happy lesbian/Man-Eater.  They all seem pissed and unhappy with life, someone called it, “penis envy.”   I am not bashing any lesbians; I am only stating the obvious.  Lesbians seem to be self-consumed, entreating everyone they know with contempt and rude speech, except their beloved pet puppies, WRONG, I never met a lesbian who liked dogs!!  Have you ever heard of a lesbian having a straight male friend?  Ahhhh NO! 

What about gay men?  Gay men seem to be happy all the time, plus they have a lot of straight female friends.  I suppose it’s gay to be gay.  Lesbians, maybe you should lighten up and be more like the gay men; at least they have straight friends.  This blog was not a homophobic bash nor any other derogatory plug, but rather a post about a common day visual, i.e. angry lesbians! Be nice!

Trayvon and Zimmerman; Bill and Amber

Here is a story, Bill and Amber were neighbors!  One night Amber was walking to her home holding a bag of skittles and a Dasani water, and she was wearing a hoodie.   Bill was 6’1 190lbs and a military veteran.  Bill decided that he wanted to RAPE Amber.  He followed her and approached her in the dark of the night behind their neighbors homes.  “REPEAT!”  He followed her and approached her in the dark!!!!  Amber turned around, because she knew someone intended to do her harm.  Amber decided she would protect herself and so the fight began. 

Bill was losing the fight; he started to scream as Amber pounded his head into the cement.  Bill pulled out his gun and shot Amber  to death.   Bills expert Attorney used the Zimmerman/Trayvon case as a PRECEDENT.  The jury ruled a NOT GUILTY verdict for Bill’s case!  He is grateful for the second chance he has been given.  Bill has now changed his technique for how he rapes women!   Bill wanted to send a special thank you out to the juries of the following cases: Trayvon/Zimmerman Jury, Casey Anthony Jury and the OJ Jury, because juries like you make it possible for killers to get a second chance!  Thank you!  THE END!

I would never do that, I Love You Baby!

“I haven’t slept with anyone, I would never do that, I am not a whore, I don’t sleep around, I love you,” said the degredated woman!

LISTEN MAN, you feel just because she said you are the only one and that you are her first, that she is being 100% honest.  How in the world did you think you were the exception, MAN?  If she will get degredated with you, why would you believe she is not getting degredated with another man?  It is either your pride or your blind love, MAN, that allows you to be fooled into thinking you are the exception when it comes to a lying woman. We all are guilty of stupidity, MAN.  

Listen MAN, the lips of a strange/degredated woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil; her ways are moveable, it is impossible for you to know who she is sleeping with.  She is an ugly beast with a beautiful face, breast and body; but she is a beast nonetheless.  If you love your life you will guard your heart, because your heart is the MAP for your life!  I learned something a long time ago from UGK, “keep your heart three stacks these girls are smart.”  As a matter of fact MAN, I would suggest you read the bible, Proverbs 5:3 all while listening to UGK’s International Player’s Anthem. 

Ask yourself, “what makes me so special?”  Nothing, makes you different when it comes to a lying woman.  You ask, “Terrell, how will I know if she is a lying woman?”  And the wise “Terrell” says, “YOU WILL KNOW HER WHEN SHE OPENS HER MOUTH!”  I hate to be the guy with bad news, but in this new and increasingly demoralized society, degredation has become a way of life for many; with that being said, you must guard yourself, MAN!  Sorry!

Any of Y'all Into Gurls Like I AM, Lez-b-honest!

What’z up family and friends, this is Leon aka The Love Doctor aka ASH.  I need to keep it 100% on this topic; and the topic is Rejection.  This blog is for the fellas; I come at people a lot on some real deal Holy field talk. Fellas, “STAY AWAY FROM ONLINE DATING SITES.” I will go further than that and say, “stay away from any website where beautiful women post pictures of themselves, i.e. “facebook.” 

If you a dude, and I mean a 100% MAN, and you see pictures of beautiful women clustered together, you would feel like a fat kid inside a candy store and try to talk to every one of those women!  And that’s some REAL DEAL HONESTY for you females who are reading this blog. 

Now, the bad thing about this online dating, is that your “REJECTION RATIO” goes up exponentially whereas your “SUCCESS RATIO” drops exponentially.  Only the male models will succeed at online dating, because they have the look, and the look is all that is required initially.  I will use my own story as an example.  In the year 2005, when I would see women in the streets and grocery stores, my “SUCCESS RATIO” was 95%, that’s an A+, meaning I was pretty successful.  Now, I wasn’t having success with “ALL” the women I liked, but it was a do-able “REJECTION RATIO,” AND the REJECTION was spread out over a matter of weeks.   

Well, no thanks to my homeboy, I became privy to a dating website.  My “SUCCESS RATIO,” drop from 95% to 60% in a two day time frame.  I never felt that much rejection, that fast, by that many women, in all my days of living.  These women blocked my profile, told me how I was not their type, told me to get real-real fast, and the BEST LINE came from a lady that said, she was not even looking for a date on this dating website.   That negativity affected my mental, I had to give that online dating up and stick to the real world dating. I am not sure if women can relate to this, but I know the non- model fellas can. STAY AWAY FROM IT!!

ASH aka THE LOVE DOCTOR......Peeling back the ACTIONS of LOVE!

This is “ASH” the LOVE DOCTOR, here again with another question from my readers.  Someone told me that love has many layers and that it is different depending on the recipient.  They said that being IN LOVE is different than just loving a person. To prove their point, they made the following statement….. "the love for your mother is different than the love for your spouse.”  I have heard this many times, but DR LOVE disagrees.  I am here to tell everyone that, “LOVE DOES NOT HAVE DEGREES AND LEVELS; LOVE IS SIMPLY LOVE!”  Let me explain.  It is not “LOVE” that we use to compare when we speak about, “loving your parents as opposed to loving your spouse.”  What you mean to say is, “the ACTIONS that portray your love are different, not the LOVE.”  It is as simple as this, my love is the same for all people, but my ACTIONS have levels and degrees, not my LOVE!  Do you understand what I mean, when I speak of, “ACTIONS?”  I love my mother and I love my girlfriend, but my “ACTIONS” to show this love is different.  I will kiss my mother on the cheek to show her my LOVE.   When I show LOVE to my girlfriend, I will kiss her on the lips and cheeks; I would kiss her anywhere, “IT REALLY DOES NOT MATTER, YA DIGG,” I digress.  LOVE is LOVE, but the ACTIONS to show that LOVE are different.

Over-The-Top 12-12-12

I hate to be Jimmy the downer, but I must speak on something that has become a nuisance.  I look on facebook, and there again scrolls down a new post in my newsfeed from, “Brittle-MINDED;” describing how they are so in love with this new person they have started dating; giving all these ACCOLADES, such as: “this person is the best thing that ever happen, etc, etc, blahze, blahze.” If I read another post like this, I am going to slam someone’s front door!!!!   Spare me the temporary, Over-The-Top, infatuation of another person.  Has this person now become your AIR and WIND??  And what makes this so irritating is that the age of these people are greater than 27yrs old; I am okay with young puppy love from people who are under the age of 27yrs.  Now, you may say, “Terrell are you hating on the expression of LOVE?”  My answer to that question is, “HELLLLLLLL- yeah I am!!”  “I don’t wanna - r e a d - t h a t - ISH!!”

Leon is Voting for President BARACK OBAMA!

Who are you voting for?  I am voting for President Barack Obama. Typical, that’s what some people would say. I know of two specific people who would say that.  As a matter of fact, let me speak on the reason these two particular individuals are not voting for President Barack Obama.  They say, the President is a liar and supports welfare; and this is why they are not voting for him.  They were angry that so many poor people had nice cars with satellite dishes on their apartments.  They said that President Barack Obama didn’t believe in a hand up but rather a hand out!!!  LOL!  PAUSE> “Now you know ME, Leon Terrell Ash, had to come correct on these two specific individuals. AND BEGAN>  First thing I said, “All politicians/HUMANS lie .”  Now if this was the true reason they were not voting for my President, then that first statement should have caused them to think; but it did not. 

I went into “JESUS MODE;” The second thing I said pertaining to programs that help the poor was this, {Here is a story, follow me if you can;  There is a boat, and on the side of the boat reads,  “All who cannot swim please get on the boat.”  There are two people on the boat, one person can swim and the other person cannot swim.}  Should we, sink the boat so that the person who can swim DOES swim, OR should we allow the boat to float, so that the non-swimmer will not drown and die.  There is NO sure proof method to prevent BAD people from using/abusing programs that are intended to help the needy and poor.  Just because a system is abused, does not mean we should end it for the people who really need it. GET YOUR MIND RIGHT!!!!

You married Jesus WHO???

I laugh today.  I heard a lady say, she was happy, because she was not married to an earthly man.  She then went on to say, she was married to Christ.  That’s funny to me.   Christ walked the earth 30 years and not once did he get married, but she would suppose that Christ is married to her as opposed to the church as a collective body.   And what makes this story even CRAZIER; she went to her MARRIED friends, who told her it was okay to continue in her insanity.

How can a single-person be so mentally blind.  If she had proper guidance and vision, she would see that her friends are enjoying their earthly husbands.  And not one of her friends would be willing to trade their earthly husband/marriage for her pretend marriage.  Single people tickle me. Being lonely and pretending to be married to Jesus does not fix loneliness; because if it did, then GOD wouldn’t have said these wonderful words,

 

 “And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be ALONE; I will make him an help meet.”  Genesis 2:18.  

Stop the madness, Stop being STUPID, single-people. And stop letting married people convince you that your insanity will make you feel better, because I guarantee you, that no MARRIED person IS willing to trade their life with you!!!!

Laughing at Lakewood Church

I had the greatest laugh while at Lakewood church last night; all thanks to two teenagers.  Here is the scene.  I am sitting up in Row ‘P” and they are down below me, a teenage guy and a teenage girl.  In front of the two teenagers was a mother and her toddler son.  The toddler was standing and playing in the chair beside his mother.  He was facing the teenagers.  PAUSE> “I must stop for a minute because as I write this blog, the laughter continues to flow violently.” CONTINUE>

 The two teenagers turned and looked at each other with "A" look; a look that says, “somebody, ooohhh weeed, if you know what I mean.”  They then pulled out their cellphones to hide their giggling faces while they texted each other. Their shoulders were vibrating violently from trying to control their pent up laughter.  I began to laugh too because I could see that they were having trouble trying not to burst out into full laughter.  The little toddler even noticed, he looked at the two teenagers with a look of curiosity, as if he wanted to ask them, "are you two teenagers laughing at ME?"  Yes little man, they were laughing at you.  After a minute or so his mother grabbed a diaper and wipes and took little man to the restroom to change his dirty diaper.  Lord forgive us!  AND THEN WE ALL TOOK “COMMUNION.”

Almost "A DONE DOTTA"

“Thank you Lord!!!”  Let me set the scene. Just getting off the interstate exit ramp the light up ahead has just turned green for me and so my pace continued.  This scenario was set up so perfectly for that ANGEL who wanted to take my LIFE today.

 

 

Like I said, the light up ahead was green,  so my speed continued as it was, AT that very moment, I saw in my right peripheral vision up near the intersection that the white trucks speed was going way to fast to stop at the RED light. That trucks speed and my speed were in sync,  Synced so perfectly that the only thing that could have happened would have been a perfect T-bone collision. 

And surely the impact of that collision would have been “A DONE DOTTA” for me.  But God allowed me to see this negative plot unfold, I SLAMMED my BRAKES eVER so VIOLently, TIRES screeching and HORNS blowing!!!!  Once again, God had spared my life on these dangerous highways. Amazing!!! And again I say, “Thank you Lord!!!”
